New Life History
Our Heritage
Torrance New Life Church was first known as First Assembly of God Church of Torrance.
The church was founded in the Spring of 1937 and met in various locations in Downtown Torrance.
The church found a permanent home at an existing structure @ 3645 Torrance Boulevard. Eventually a permanent church building was built on this site.
And The Lord Added To Their Number
Advertisement in the September 1st, 1957 Edition of the Torrance Herald.
In the 1960s, a second church building was built on this address and the Lord grew this church where it was planted.

Milestone
On May 8, 1987, the church celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a homecoming reunion that saw many former members and workers gather for a great day of celebration.
In April of 1989, the church purchased a new property @ the corner of Sepulveda Blvd and Cypress Street.
New Life
In June of 1995, Rev. Glen Howard Moore became pastor and the church got a new name, New Life Church, and a new chapter was started with growth, healing and a new direction.
