Church can be intimidating... especially when it is your first time, or when you haven't been back in a long time. 

 

It can be unsettling when you don’t have an idea what to expect. Not to worry, here are a few things on what to expect at New Life.

 

During the old normal, parking lot attendants and greeters were waiting to assist you as you arrive.

 

You were greeted warmly and when you have children with you, a greeter or usher helped you find Children's Church or the Nursery or helped you out when you have a question. 

 

Coffee, tea and refreshments were available.

 

Today we have services and meetings online as well as in person church services. Check the Events page for details.

SUNDAY WORSHIP CELEBRATION

FIRST VISIT?

Now in the new normal, there are two Sunday Morning Worship Services. 

 

Online @ 9:15 AM, which you can catch live on Facebook (at home or anywhere with a WIFI connection).

 

In Person Service follows @ 10:30 AM.  

 

Non-contact temperature check, social-distancing and face-covering may be required or optional, depending on current local regulations.


WHAT TO EXPECT?

Sunday Worship Celebration Services start with an offering of praise for what the Lord has done, is doing and will do in our lives. 

 

There will be singing, clapping & lifting of hands, prayer or moments of silence. 

Everyone is free to praise and worship as respectfully as one might towards the God who created heaven and earth.

 

Meetings are done decently and in an orderly fashion.


WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

One can arrive in casual, business casual or formal wear. There is no standard attire.

We welcome you to come as comfortably as you would like to be in church fellowship and what you believe to be honorable to our Lord.

 

Once a month and on special celebrations, we partake of the communion elements. Non-believers are enjoined not to participate in communion.

SHOULD I GIVE?

Guests are not to feel obligated or intimidated to give during the passing of the offering plate.

 

Essentially, guests are guests.

 

Feel free to participate and enjoy communal worship, hear God's message, pray and be prayed for, be encouraged and encourage others, and personally experience the warmth and the joy when people come together to worship God.
